The Berber Lodge is located only 40 kilometres south of Marrakech in the small town of Oumnas. Like a traditional Berber village, its cottages nestle in the wild foothills of the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by palm trees, lemon trees and an old olive grove. Although only half an hour away from the city, here you feel like in another world long gone. The architect Romain Michele-Méniere from Switzerland provided the ideas for the project. Together with two architects, he designed nine individual lodges – pink clay tiles, eucalyptus ceiling beams and palace roofs adorn traditional Berber building techniques. A timelessly beautiful retreat with unagitated Moroccan luxury.
